On 31st Oct 2024, With the sound of buzzing,  the rope type screed door on the platform of Nanyang East Station slowly rose, and passengers got off and boarded in an orderly manner. Many passengers on the platform were attracted by the guardrail in front of them, and many people shared this new "artifact" through photos and short videos.

This rope type platform screen doors are design and produced by Horizon Traffic Technology company. The GM of Horzion said more and more lifting safety gate will be equipped in high-speed railway station all over the world.
