Fully enclosed screen door system with sliding door, which is set along the edge of the station platform and the two ends of the platform to separate the platform passenger waiting area from the train stopping area, which belongs to the fully enclosed type. 

Platform Screen Door (PSD) system functions

1.To protect the safety of passengers

Prevent passengers from falling or jumping off the track and causing danger, so that passengers can travel safely and comfortably on urban rail transit, and the train can also travel in a safer environment to reduce the sense of insecurity of drivers.

2. Improve the waiting environment on the platform

The screen door can keep a safe distance between the platform passengers and staff and the passing train, reduce the wind pressure caused by the train entering the station or passing the platform, reduce noise, and the sound insulation effect is better, so that passengers have a more comfortable waiting space and environment.

3. Increase the utilization rate of air conditioning and broadcasting in stations

The screen door effectively blocks the waiting side of the platform from the track side, so the air conditioning in the station can not flow out through the platform to the track side, increasing the utilization rate of the air conditioning system in the whole station. And because the screen door has a good sound insulation effect, effectively enhance the station broadcast system effect.

4. Fire mitigation

When a fire occurs on the platform side or on the track side, the screen door can isolate the fire and smoke from the track into the platform or from the platform to the track, and can extend the mutual influence time on both sides to increase the evacuation time of passengers
